ANNUAL REPORT
It is very heartening that our school has shown consistence progress in academics, sports, co-curricular activities and all round development of students. Today our school enjoys an outstanding level of support within the local community and is renowned for high student achievement levels. Our highly professional, dedicatedStaff team endeavours to encourage all students to achieve their personal best in all that they do. Feature of APS Sangrur include
- High quality teaching and learning programs relevant to students need. For this the faculty of the school is made to undergo various workshop held at different levels from time to time . The result is that we have always been able to produce 100% board result of X.
- Here I would like to add that our ex-students are also doing very well in many different fields like IIT,ARMY,AIRFORCE etc.More importantly, they come and acknowledge the immense contributions of their teachers and the school in their success.
- Keeping in pace with the modern world of technology, the school has well-resourcedclassrooms equipped with internet linked computers and all teachers extensively use it as teaching learning aid. Now all our class rooms have technology learning equipments.
- Realizing the value and importance of communication we have been able to create an environment where children are encouraged to converse in English. English language lab with latest technology is a step in this direction.
- Ladies and gentlemen CCA forms an essential part of the school calendar. Outstanding opportunities in the performing arts through different co-curricular activitiesare provided to our students.
- Students actively participate in numerous activities and games held at school, corps and Disst level. The best part of this is that most of the schools are till 12th level and ours is till 10th level but we still manage to compete with them and are always able to achieve good position.
- Besides giving due importance to upgrade the infrastructure, stress has been laid on security of children wherein we have put netwire fencing all around the school, hooters, walky- talkies,CCTV cameras and public announcement system in all the rooms. Special drills are organised in the school by the QRTof 71 Armd Regt on how to act and react in case of emergency.
- Focus has been laid on enhancing moral values by imparting value added education to the students which is the need of the hour.
- We are also focusing on “SwachhBhartaAbhyaan” by making our children realise the importance of cleanliness and most importantly we try to develop the values of respect for each other. Our expectations are very high. There are various challenges to achieve these but I assure that we will all collectively strive to make it a success.
To fully educate the whole person we are committed to cultivation life long learner and balanced service oriented citizens, who are thereby prepared to positively contribute in a globally competitive world.
